Alyssa Collazo: Uncorked Ventures Wine Club Review♥

Uncorked Ventures Wine Club Review♥

The concept for Uncorked Ventures emerged during a family vacation to South America. While sipping on Pisco Sours along with wines from Chile and Argentina, two brothers-in-law Matt Krause & Mark Aselstine discussed their passion for food and wine, as well as their desire for something different, something better. That something different, something better is Uncorked Ventures. Uncorked Ventures provides its customers with the best wines from California, Washington, and Oregon. A great majority of these wines come from small artisan producers whose wines are not widely available. By making frequent trips to wine country, they develop relationships with top winemakers that grant them access to the high quality, limited production wines their customers desire.

Discover the beauty of wine Exploration, knowing that you're going to receive 90+ point quality in every bottle and top value under $50. From the hidden gems uncovered by Mark and Matt in their journeys through California, Oregon and Washington wine country, Uncorked Ventures' Exploration wine club brings you a delicious bottle of red and white every month yes, sometimes there are two red wines, every other month, or quarterly as you desire. The experience of Exploration is visceral and personal, yet one that is perfect for sharing. For those who enjoy consistent performance highlighted with the brush of the New, this wine club is sure to please.

My shipment contained a 2013 Sola Chardonnay, which retails for about $13.99 and a 2010 Mercy Pinot Noir which retails for $35. The Mercy Pinot was definitely my favorite. It's an extremely smooth wine all around. All in all the total value of the Wine was just under $50, so basically 20% off what I would have paid retail. I think the curation was great and really enjoyed both wines so I’m very happy with the subscription. I really like Uncorked Ventures and the idea of trying new wine all the time is really nice!

  1. Hmmm... I am sorry I can't give any opinion about wine because I don't drink any wine.

  2. I love reds, and like exploring different vineyards. I usually pick a new bottle by its packaging and label. Sometimes it''s a hit and other times, it's a miss. I wouldn't mind trying out a wine subscription one of these days.

  3. I have a bottle of the Mercy Pinot Noir. It is a sumptuous wine. I would very much like to have a wine subscription.

  4. I got a month to review as well, and I opted for the single bottle- It was the best wine I have had! This is an awesome concept:)
