Alyssa Collazo: Bare Fruit Review♥

Bare Fruit Review♥

Basically, Bare Fruit Apple Chips are the perfect snack: great tasting and great for you. Made from Washington State apples (and nothing else) their apple chips are low in calories, fat free, full of fiber, and so good even your kids will love them. Just like eating an apple, only more convenient and even tastier. There are really several types of snacks on the market. Some are great tasting. Potato chips really do taste good. But they aren’t good for you. Some snacks are “better-for-you.” But there are very few “good-for-you” snacks out there. An apple chip, baked (not fried or freeze-dried) tastes great while still being good-for-you in every way. Bare Fruit Snacks are all-natural and the organic chips are certified by Washington State, the hardest organic certifiers in the country. They make every effort to be environmentally friendly! At Bare Fruit they focus a lot of our energy on not using energy. And, by 2013, they will be 100% carbon neutral. You can be proud that the snack your eating was farmed in a socially responsible way.

Bare Fruit is Fruit Undressed... The fruit, the whole fruit and nothing but the fruit. Bare Fruit is Delicious... First and foremost, Bare Fruit Apple Chips and Fruit Chunks are Delicious. This is important because, let’s face it, if a snack does not taste great, you aren’t going to eat it. Bare Fruit uses a unique process that bakes the chips so that the naturally occurring sugars caramelize on the outside, providing a sweet and tart flavor combination without any added sugars or flavors. A lot of chips out there on the market are high in cholesterol, but these snacks have none. Bare Fruit all-natural apple chips come in 5 flavors: Cinnamon, Fuji Red, Granny Smith, Sea Salted Caramel, and Chile Lime.

My favorite flavor is definitely Cinnamon. The sweetness of the added cinnamon adds just the prefect amount of spice flavoring. My girls loved Granny Smith. These apple chips are sweet and crispy, but not dry. The chips do not have the processed or chemical taste that some dried apple snacks have. Another plus is that none of the chips were soggy; the entire bag was crisp and fresh. Because the chips are baked, they are not greasy, and I like that I can eat these chips without getting messy. I highly recommend Bare Fruit Apple Chips for a fun snack or add-on to a meal! In fact, I will most likely purchase more soon at my local grocery store! Don't hesitate to buy, I promise you won't regret it!
